A Place For All Faiths To Gather

Badlands Ministries is a year-round Christian camp and retreat facility that has been blessed to serve the people of this region for over 85 years. We provide a summer camp program for 1,200 youth and families each summer, and we offer year round retreats to people of all ages. Our mission is to witness to the love and power of Jesus Christ, inspiring life, hope, vitality, and renewal to all.

Badlands Ministries is located 4 miles south of Medora on 188 acres and has many new facilities built to accommodate large groups including our new Retreat House Gethsemane which has hotel-style rooms on the main floor with queen beds and tile showers. This facility also has a full kitchen, spacious and comfortable meeting space with a large fireplace, and a beautiful deck. The lower level has three large sleeping rooms that can accommodate 18 people in each with restrooms and showers, and a large meeting space. Our site also has a beautiful dining hall than can seat over 200 people, a country church, a bath house, tent platforms, renovated private cabins, a historic restored log lodge, hiking trails, a low and high ropes course, a basketball court, and many recreational and worship areas.

In addition to the many programs and events we offer, Badlands Ministries also rents our facilities for family reunions, weddings, ministry groups, and more. In 2012, Badlands Ministries served over 3,000 people through 9 weddings, 8 family reunions, and many ministry and corporate retreats.
